Prior to publication, all authors must complete an intellectual property release (provided by the symposium committee) for their manuscript and presentation materials. By signing, authors certify that they have received all required approvals from their organization and have met any export release requirements for release to publish.
Free tutorials, manuscripts, presentation materials and other provided materials may be re-published in the INCOSE Event CD-ROM, proceedings, on-line websites, best paper supplements, or any other INCOSE-supported publication format. (A free material is one for which the author does not receive a fee from INCOSE.) Authors are approving use of their event materials for INCOSE’s present and future working or publication use in any media. The first page of any work submitted to INCOSE should contain a copyright notice as follows: “Copyright © ( insert year) by (insert author name). Published and used by INCOSE with permission.”
For-fee tutorials may be published in support of the INCOSE Event. Authors are approving use of their event materials for this specific INCOSE event for use by attendees of the tutorial session. (For-fee tutorials are those materials for which the author receives a fee from INCOSE.) The first page of any work submitted to INCOSE should contain a copyright notice as follows: “Copyright © ( insert year) by (insert author name). Published by INCOSE for the ( fill-in name) event with permission.”
The author or assignee retains the copyright to the materials.
